Kumari Pooja In Nepal
Donned in red robes, alike living goddess Kumari girls below the age of 7 years sat on line to be worshipped turn by turn in the square of ancient palace to ward off bad luck and diseases. Running in their pre-pubescent, the girls are worshipped annually in the Himalayan Nation as earthly incarnations of divine feminine energy, manifestations of the goddess known as Taleju, the Nepalese name for Goddess Durga.
