Victory Day in Bulgaria

On May 9, 2014, over a thousand people laid wreaths and flowers at the monument of the Soviet Army in Sofia to mark the Victory Day. 69 years ago the General Staff of the Wehrmacht signed the unconditional surrender of German forses at the Soviet Union headquarters in Berlin. Among the presents there were diplomats, political figures, veterans of World War II, and Russian citizens living in Sofia.
