Photovoltaic Projects Revolving Around The Sun in Huai'an

Aerial photo taken on Oct 1, 2023 shows the ''fish-light complementary'' photovoltaic project that can automatically revolve around the sun near Baima Lake in Huai 'an city, Jiangsu province, China. The field has two large areas for the ''Mars Tracker'' type of automated photovoltaic project. Photovoltaic panels in the electric field can automatically calculate the daily trajectory of the sun. The controller adjusts the direction of rotation of the support according to the running track data, and drives the photovoltaic panel to generate vertical sunlight from east to west every day, and the photovoltaic panel can revolve around the sun like a sunflower. The relevant data show that compared with the fixed installation of photovoltaic system, by tracking the solar orientation, the photovoltaic tracking system can increase the power generation capacity of the photovoltaic system by 10% to 35%, and the power generation cost can be reduced by 2% to 5%.
