Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) returns to his office following approval of a motion to oust him from the House Speaker’s office. House business is suspended pending selection of a new Speaker. Hard-right Republicans and Democrats voted to approve the motion, introduced by Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL).
