A Craftsman weave dried water hyacinth plants (Eichornia crassipes) into crafts at the Syarina Handicraft production house, Kebondowo Village, Banyubiru District, Semarang Regency, Central Java, Indonesia on October 19 2023. Craftsmen make various crafts made from water hyacinth such as bags, skullcaps, hats , tissue containers, chairs and tables which are sold for IDR 20 thousand to IDR 1.5 million to a number of regions in Indonesia and are in demand in foreign markets such as Malaysia, Italy and America.
