Animal India - Jungle Babbler - Deforestation
The Jungle Babbler (Turdoides striata) is a member of the family Leiothrichidae found in the Indian subcontinent. A group of jungle babbler birds known as ''Seven Sisters'' are eating grains and some are swollen their bodies. Here These Jungle Babbler birds nest in this fig tree every year. But this year they suddenly come to see that the tree has been cut. Then a Jungle Babbler bird seems to be trying to express grief through different gestures at Tehatta, West Bengal; India on 29/10/2023. (Photo by Soumyabrata Roy/NurPhoto)
