Wanda Poltawska's Funeral In Krakow
Cardinal-Priest Stanislaw Dziwisz during the funeral mass of Wanda Poltawska at St. Mary's Basilica on October 31, 2023 in Krakow, Poland. At the age of almost 102, Wanda Poltawska died on the night of October 24-25. She was a psychiatrist and a close friend of Pope John Paul II. During the war, she was imprisoned in the Ravensbruck concentration camp, where medical experiments were carried out on her.
