Dead Sperm Whale At New Brighton

An onlooker takes pictures of a sperm whale which was washed up on the shores at New Brighton, a coastal suburb of Christchurch, New Zealand on November 05, 2023. This is the fifth sperm whale that has died in the last month with three stranding in Northland and one in Mahia according to an environmental organisation Project Jonah.
