Algeria - November 8, 2023 Place des Chevaux opposite Palais des Rais (Bastion 23), an Algerian architectural gem built during the Ottoman era and classified as a UNESCO world heritage site since 1992, is listed as the protected heritage of the Casbah of Algiers and continues to amaze visitors and attract researchers interested in its history and its role in the protection of the country, the Palais des Rais is one of the most important historical monuments of the city of Algiers.
