Civil disobedience for a ceasefire in Gaza
Capitol Police arrest John Motter, one of roughly a dozen U.S. military veterans occupying Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand's (D-NY) office to demand a ceasefire in Gaza. Six veterans refused to leave without speaking to Gillibrand - known for her support of veterans - in person or by phone, and were arrested. The action comes the day before the U.S. observes Veterans Day. (Photo by Allison Bailey/NurPhoto)
