Libya Dawn - Libyan Civil War
November 19, 2014 - Local police officials.. They say they civilian jobs before the revolution which they then returned to after Gaddafi was ousted. However, the split in the country and fear of General Haftar's forces and militant groups has motivated them to join the Libya Dawn movement. Despite much of the country being in a state of chaos, the city is under firm control of local militias associated with the Libya Dawn movement and the National Salvation Government in Tripoli. Reconstruction is underway, and the government has made security, from crime to extremism, its main priority. (Photo by Christopher Occhicone/NurPhoto)
