Indonesian General Election 2024

Representatives from several political parties are signing the six-point agreement of the General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) while inaugurating the monitoring alert and declaring the peaceful campaign for the 2024 general election at the Maimun Palace in Medan, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia, on November 29, 2023. During the declaration, the Chairman of Bawaslu, M Aswin Diapari Lubis, is emphasizing the six points of supervision to ensure the campaign for the 2024 general election is conducted according to the law, free from money politics, intimidation, hate speech, and the spread of hoaxes, and without insulting any person, religion, ethnicity, race, or group.
