Graduation And Retirement Of Guide Dogs In Mexico
A dog is being viewed during its graduation and retirement ceremony at the I.A.P. Guide Dog Training School for the Blind in Mexico City, where five dogs are graduating and retiring after completing their training and service as guide dogs for individuals with visual impairments. Silvia Lozada Badillo, who has been a guide dog user for 40 years and is the director and founder of the school, is leading the event. She acquired a visual disability at the age of three due to a viral illness and later traveled to the United States to attend the Leader Dogs for the Blind school, where she received her first guide dog, a German shepherd.
