A worker is assembling the main Christmas tree of Ukraine in Sofiiska Square, in Kyiv, Ukraine, on December 4, 2023. The Christmas tree is set to be lit on Saint Nicholas Day, which is celebrated this year on December 6, as the Orthodox Church of Ukraine has adopted the Revised Julian calendar.
