Stabbing Attack At Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Leaves Three Nurses Injured
Two people are being injured in a stabbing attack inside the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey, United States, on December 8, 2023. According to Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Frage, at around 7:09 a.m. on Friday morning, three female nurses at Newark Beth Israel Hospital, located at 201 Lyons Avenue, are suffering lacerations following an altercation with a female suspect who is visiting a patient in the pediatric ICU. The suspect is attacking the nurses with a cutting implement. Each victim is reportedly in stable condition. Authorities have taken the suspect into custody.
