Response to Kyiv Metro shutdown
In Kyiv, Ukraine, on December 11, 2023, a police officer is talking to the driver of a bus that is operating between the closed metro stations of the Blue Line. Train traffic on the Blue Line of the Kyiv Metro between Demiivska and Teremky metro stations was halted for safety reasons on Thursday, December 8, just before the commencement of repairs on an overpass tunnel. However, six metro stations are continuing to function as air raid shelters around the clock despite the ongoing repairs. NO USE RUSSIA. NO USE BELARUS. (Photo by Ukrinform/NurPhoto)
