High Speed Trains Cope With Cold Waves in Nanjing

High-speed trains with raised bow power supplies are parked on the storage line of the Nanjing South EMU Operation Depot in Nanjing, China, on December 20, 2023. Staff are raising the pantograph power supply to the parked high-speed trains in response to the cold wave and cooling weather, to prevent low temperatures from causing abnormalities in the trains' air, water, electrical circuits, and electronic equipment.
