A Funeral Ceremony Of Ukrainian Poet And Serviceman Maxym Kryvtsov In Kyiv, Amid Russia's Invasion Of Ukraine.

Ukrainian servicemen are taking part in a farewell ceremony for Ukrainian poet and serviceman Maxym Kryvtsov, who was killed fighting against Russian troops, on Independence Square in Kyiv, Ukraine, on January 11, 2024, amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Hundreds of Ukrainians are coming to honor the memory of the fallen Ukrainian poet and soldier Maxym Kryvtsov (33), call sign ''Dali'', and to say goodbye to him. Maksym became the author of the book ''Poems from the loophole'', recognized as one of the best Ukrainian books of 2023. He participated in the Revolution of Dignity and then volunteered to go to the front in 2014. Maxym fought as part of the 5th battalion of the Ukrainian Volunteer Corps ''Right Sector'' and with the ''Da Vinci Wolves''. Until 2019, he served as a senior machine gunner in the Rapid Response Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine ''Rubizh''. Maxym rejoined the Ukrainian army as a volunteer in 2022 when the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine began.
