Daily Life In Edmonton
EDMONTON, CANADA - January 4, 2024: The historic Church of the Sacred Heart in downtown Edmonton, built in 1913 and restored recently, has welcomed diverse Catholic communities. Originally serving English Catholics, it later embraced Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Croatian, and Aboriginal communities. Renowned for its tradition of welcoming the stranger, the church reopened for the Pope's visit in July 2022 after undergoing restoration, on January 4, 2024, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
