International Candlelight Vigil For Elephants

A person is carrying an elephant mask during the Vigil for Elephants outside the Palace of Fine Arts in Mexico City, a ceremony that has been held since 2018 to remember each of these creatures that, whether of African, Asian, or other latitudes, are dying prematurely or from old age, disease, neglect, abuse, war, exploitation, entertainment, experiments, injuries, or even trade, without having been allowed the slightest opportunity to develop as what they were: elephants.
