Students are protesting in Rome, Italy, on January 21, 2024, in remembrance of the students who have died in the Alternanza Scuola-Lavoro program and against the Valditara reform. January 21 marks the anniversary of the death of Lorenzo Parelli, the first victim of the Alternanza Scuola-Lavoro system, which has to date claimed the lives of three young students who were working for free and without any protection.
