Memorial Ceremony On The Occasion Of International Holocaust Remembrance Day At Auschwitz-Birkenau
Reuven Rivlin, the 10th President of the State of Israel, is attending the Memorial Ceremony and reciting the Kaddish prayer at the Birkenau Camp during the EJA conference in Oswiecim, Poland, on January 23, 2023. The European Jewish Association organized a conference in Krakow on January 22-23 in observance of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, titled 'Never Again: Lip Service or Deep Commitment?' The conference is addressing the issue of anti-Semitism, which the association notes has been on the rise since October 7 due to the conflict in Palestine.
