Ecuador Volcano Tungurahua

Baños (Tungurahua), 06 March 2016.- The Mama Tungurahua was reactivated and the eruptive process two types of reactions are generated in the sector. On one side are excited tourists who scream every time the colossus emits an explosion, especially if it is night and get to see the glow. On the other side are the residents of the neighboring villages of the volcano as Baños, Pelileo and Cotaló, whom the spectacle of nature and no surprises. An example are the inhabitants of the neighborhood of La Florida Baja, in the sector of Pelileo, who played volleyball while the Tungurahua expelled ash and emitted loud explosions. "Now we are not afraid as 17 years ago. We learned to live with. We know what to do if the thing becomes serious," Luis, one of the villagers said. In the area known as aerials Volcano, tourists come at night to see from the mountain opposite the colossus.
