Candlelight Procession To Remember The "forgotten" Victims

In Rome, Italy, on January 27, 2024, a candlelight procession is taking place to remember the ''forgotten'' victims of the Holocaust: the Rom-Sinti people, homosexuals, and disabled people. On the occasion of the Holocaust Victims Remembrance Day, Opera Nomadi is organizing a commemoration in Via degli Zingari to honor the victims of the Porrajmos Rom-Sinti extermination and those homosexuals and disabled individuals who were also targeted. Luciana Romoli, known as the 'child of the Resistance,' who was expelled at the age of eight from all schools in the Kingdom for rebelling against the racial laws that affected her Jewish classmate, is present at the event.
