Animal Activists Protest Against The Return Of Bullfighting In Mexico City

Members of various animal rights groups are marching along Avenida de los Insurgentes towards Plaza Mexico in Mexico City, demanding an end to bullfighting in Mexico. In June 2022, Federal Judge Jonathan Bass granted a suspension of bullfighting following an injunction by the Just Justice civil association, which argued that the degrading treatment of bulls violates the right to a healthy environment.
