Memorial Ceremony On The Occasion Of International Holocaust Remembrance Day At Auschwitz-Birkenau
Borut Pahor, the former President of Slovenia, is visiting the Birkenau Camp during the EJA conference in Oswiecim, Poland, on January 23, 2023. The European Jewish Association is hosting a conference in Krakow on January 22-23 in observance of International Holocaust Remembrance Day. This year's theme is 'Never Again: Lip Service or Deep Commitment?' with a focus on the issue of anti-Semitism, which the association notes has been on the rise since October 7 due to the conflict in Palestine.
