Bergtatt Marble Mine

A collection of lanterns is being displayed, which were used by miners to extract marble from the various galleries of the Bergtatt mine in Eide, Norway, on January 30, 2024. Bergtatt, an impressive marble mine situated in the county of More og Romsdal near the town of Eide in the western region of Norway, is offering guided tours through its subterranean caves. The tours include a boat ride on an illuminated underground lake and a visit to a concert hall carved into the marble. (Photo by Jorge Mantilla/NurPhoto)
