Bias Crimes In Glen Rock New Jersey Under Investigation
Police vehicles are near the scene of two bias incidents that are being investigated in Glen Rock, New Jersey, on February 19, 2024. At 8:05 AM on Monday morning, the manager of the Starbucks located at 224 Rock Road in Glen Rock's Central Business District reported that someone had splashed red paint over the sign at the corner of Rock Road and Glen Avenue. The responding officer is also finding stickers placed on the sign with messages related to the Middle East conflict. It is believed that the act is occurring in the early morning hours prior to the opening of the store. The Glen Rock Police Department is investigating this as a bias incident.
