Hike through the gorge of Vouraikos. The train starts from Diakofto, the rack railway runs through the gorge of Vouraikos and terminates in Kalavryta. The classification of the railway as “rack” comes from the cog wheels the train uses that mesh in the rack rail, helping them to operate on steep grades.
