Yellow Traffic Light Is Activated Due To Heat Wave And Phase 1 Of Atmospheric Environmental Contingency Due To Ozone In Mexico City
A pigeon structure is seen on Cerro de la Estrella in Mexico City, as a significant haze is visible during the Yellow Traffic Light for Heat Wave and Phase 1 of Atmospheric Environmental Contingency for Ozone. The Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe) announced these conditions after high ozone concentrations were recorded in recent days. Despite this, the pollution haze remains clearly visible from elevated areas in the Valley of Mexico, alongside high temperatures in the capital ranging between 28 and 30 degrees.
