They are showing support for Palestinian journalists, particularly those covering the conflict in Gaza. As of February 25, 2024, preliminary investigations by The Committee to Protect Journalists have revealed that at least 88 journalists and media workers have been killed since the war began on October 7 in Gaza and the West Bank.
