Two-Year-Old Baby Found Dead At Home

Newark police are standing guard near the home where a two-year-old baby was found dead in Newark, New Jersey, United States, on March 2, 2024. On March 2, at 2:18 p.m., Newark police responded to a report of a baby in distress on the 100 block of South Orange Avenue in Newark, New Jersey. Arriving officers located the baby inside a residence at that location, and the baby was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:32 p.m. The cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy.
