Tawur Kesanga Ritual Ahead Nyepi Celebration
Balinese Hindu devotees are parading Ogoh-ogoh during the Tawur Kesanga ritual at the Parahyangan Agung Pasundan temple in Bekasi district, West Java, on March 10, 2024. In the Tawur Kesanga ritual, Balinese Hindus are taking part in a worship and parade of Ogoh-ogoh, effigies that represent demons or bad traits, which will then be burned as a symbol of the victory of goodness.
