Animal India - Asian Snake-eyed Skink (Ablepharus Pannonicus)

The Asian snake-eyed skink (Ablepharus pannonicus) is a species belonging to the family Scincidae. This small reptile has a body color that can vary from brown to copper green, with some individuals featuring a white stripe along their side. Unlike snakes, it lacks movable eyelids. Its habitat spans Georgia, southern Turkmenistan, southern Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, western Azerbaijan, eastern Iran, Iraq, Oman, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Jordan, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, northwestern India, the Caucasus Mountains, the greater Middle East, and Cyprus.
