Nepali Buddhist devotees are making offerings to the idols of Buddha brought to the ancient town of Patan in Lalitpur District for the Samyak Mahadan on March 14, 2024. Shakyas and Bajracharyas of the Newar community are gathering to honor Dipankar Buddha and are participating in giving offerings during the day of Samayak Mahadan, which is celebrated once every five years in Lalitpur.
