Brazil's Food Inflation
People are moving around at open-air markets in Sao Paulo. In January and February, the cost of food at home has risen by 2.95%, compared to 1.25% for the IPCA. El Nino is affecting the harvest. Beans, rice, potatoes, and carrots are expected to see an increase of more than 10% in 2024. (Photo by Cris Faga/NurPhoto)
