Iran- International Jerusalem Day Rally In Tehran
Armed military personnel from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) are walking alongside a donkey draped with an Israeli flag and wearing a mask depicting a cartoon portrait of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. They are participating in a rally to commemorate International Quds Day, also known as Jerusalem Day, and to hold a funeral for members of the IRGC Quds Force who were killed in an Israeli airstrike in Syria. This event is taking place in Tehran, Iran, on April 5, 2024. Among those killed in the Israeli airstrike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus were Mohammad Reza Zahedi, a senior commander in the IRGC Quds Force, his deputy, Mohammad Hadi Haji Rahimi, and five other IRGC members.
