US - ASTRONOMY - ECLIPSE
A partial solar eclipse is moving across the sky in Brooklyn, New York, on April 8, 2024. The path of totality for this year's eclipse is 115 miles (185 kilometers) wide and encompasses an area where nearly 32 million Americans reside, with another 150 million living within 200 miles of the swath. The next total solar eclipse visible from much of North America will not occur until 2044. (Photo by Deccio Serrano/NurPhoto)
