West-east Power Transmission Maintenance

Maintenance workers are inspecting the 800 kV channel across the Yangtze River at an altitude of more than 270 meters in Wuhu, China, on April 10, 2024. The project is one of China's major ''west-east power transmission'' channels, with a total length of 2080 kilometers, passing through Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei, Anhui, and Jiangsu provinces and cities, and is capable of transporting more than 30 billion KWH of clean electricity for Jiangsu every year.
