Italy's Largest Data Centre Inaugurated In Pisa

The University of Pisa is inaugurating its new Green Data Centre (GDC) in Pisa, Italy, on April 16, 2024. The recently expanded and upgraded facility is now equipped with an innovative liquid cooling system for the computing systems, ensuring high energy efficiency. By doing so, the University of Pisa is doubling the capacity of its Green Data Centre. Rector Riccardo Zucchi is calling it a 'strategic investment for the future of research and teaching'.
