Protest Against Giorgia Meloni’s Visit In Tunisia

A protester is giving a speech through a megaphone during a demonstration on the occasion of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni's visit in Tunis, Tunisia, on April 17, 2024. The demonstration is taking place in front of the Italian Embassy to denounce the detention, inhumane treatment, and deaths of Tunisian migrants in Italian detention centers. Demonstrators are also demanding an end to the massive expulsions of Tunisian migrants from Italy and are calling for a halt to the pressure on Tunisia to guard the Italian coasts.
