NY: Jury Selection Begins In Trial Of The Former President Trump Hush Money Trial

Former President Donald Trump exits his Manhattan residence at the end of the first week of jury selection on April 19,2024 in New York City. Trump is charged with a coverup concerning “ hush money” payment to an adult film star Stormy Daniels. In this case, the first-ever criminal case involving a President of the United States is brought by Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg stipulating that Trumps former attorney Michael Cohen paid Daniels, on behest of the former president, $130,000 to hide Trumps personal involvement with the film star.
