Opening Arguments Begin In Criminal Trial Of Former US President Donald Trump In New York
A handful of Pro-Trump protesters are demonstrating in Collect Pond Park, across the street from the Manhattan Criminal Courthouse in NYC, as former US President Trump arrives on the morning of opening arguments, on April 22, 2024. The park has recently reopened to the public following the death of Max Azzarello, 37, who died from his injuries after setting himself on fire at this location. Trump is being accused of falsifying business records to cover up payments made to conceal information from voters in the 2016 election.
