Toulouse: 'Casserolade' By Schoolteachers In Front Of The Local Board Of Education

Schoolteachers are hanging a sheet on the wall of the Local Board of Education in Toulouse, France, on April 25, 2024. It reads, 'Our pupils are not sheep, stop counting them!' The teachers are gathering in front of the local Board of Education for a 'casserole' to demand an end to what they describe as the breaking of the public education service, for additional resources, the cessation of class and teacher reductions. They are protesting in Toulouse against what French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal refers to as the 'shock of knowledge', 'level groups', and the proposal for mandatory uniforms up to university level.
