Students break through barricades at GWU Palestine solidarity encampment

The sun rises on a Gaza solidarity encampment at George Washington University, Washington, DC, April, 29, 2024. Overnight, students broke through the barricades set up around thecamp by the university administration, piling them in the center of the camp. GWU students have maintained the encampment for four days in conjunction with other DC-area universities. The camp is one of the dozens at universities across the country.
