Police Raid Columbia University At University’s Request To Remove Pro-Palestine Protesters
Protesters are demonstrating in front of police along the perimeter of the Columbia University campus in New York City, on April 30, 2024. New York City police are arriving in riot gear this evening at the request of the university to conduct a raid to remove pro-Palestine protesters who are occupying a campus building. Students stormed and barricaded Hamilton Hall the previous night in protest of university investments in the context of the Israel-Hamas conflict.
