Iran-Youths And The Nightlife In The Historical City Of Bushehr
An Iranian motorcyclist is sitting on his motorcycle, which is stopped on a street at night in the historical seaport city of Bushehr, Bushehr Province, on the northern coast of the Persian Gulf, 1090km (677 miles) south of Tehran, Iran, on April 28, 2024. The name of the seaport city of Bushehr appears in the inscriptions of the Sassanian Empire as ''Bokht Ardshir,'' meaning ''the city of liberation.'' Bushehr has experienced many ups and downs throughout history, including the Portuguese invasion during the Safavid era and the occupation by the British during the Qajar period.
