Three People Shot, One Person Killed In Shooting In Chicago Illinois

Three people are being shot, one person is dead following a shooting in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on May 5, 2024. At approximately 5:07 p.m. Sunday, on the 7900 block of S. Cottage Grove, three male victims are standing near the sidewalk when they are approached by four unknown suspects who are producing handguns and firing shots. A 25-year-old male victim is being struck in the arm, leg, and foot and is being transported to the hospital, initially reported in good condition. A 26-year-old male victim is being struck in the foot and is being transported to the hospital, also initially reported in good condition.
