Tlaib and Bush hold press conference with GWU Gaza encampment students

The camp was cleared around 4 AM by DC police, and more than 30 students were arrested. For 14 days, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) had prohibited police action to clear the camp, citing the students’ right to protest, but reversed that decision prior to her scheduled appearance at a House Oversight Committee hearing on the matter.
