Automobile Export Growth
A batch of new energy vehicles is being prepared for export to overseas markets via frame transport at the Taicang Port International Container Terminal in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, China, on May 9, 2024. From January to April 2024, Taicang Customs has supervised the export of 171,100 vehicles from Taicang port, marking an increase of 37.7% year-on-year. Out of these, 56,700 are new energy vehicles, showing an increase of 4.3% year-on-year. Additionally, 73,600 vehicles have been exported to Belt and Road countries, up 51.5% year-on-year.
